These Terms of Service govern your use of PlopKit, a service operated by an individual based in Canada. By creating an account or using PlopKit in any way, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to create a PlopKit account. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for your account and everything that happens under it. You must provide accurate information when signing up. You may not share your account with others or transfer it to anyone else.
We support signing in via Google OAuth or via a magic link sent to your email address. In both cases, we do not store your password.
As a publisher, you are responsible for how you deploy and configure the PlopKit widget on your site. This includes:
Ensuring your use of the widget complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
Informing your own users that a third-party comment widget is in use and that their comments are processed by PlopKit
Moderating the comment sections on your site appropriately
Ensuring the widget is not embedded on sites that violate these Terms
PlopKit has no control over where publishers embed the widget or what content appears in comment sections on third-party sites. Publishers bear full responsibility for their deployment of the widget and the content their users submit through it.
You may not use PlopKit to:
Post or facilitate illegal content of any kind
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or commenters
Spam or post repetitive, low-quality, or automated content
Scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract data from PlopKit
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
Use PlopKit in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the service
Violate the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights
We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation of these Terms at our sole discretion.
Comments posted through the PlopKit widget are the responsibility of the publisher on whose site they appear. We do not review or moderate comments on behalf of publishers unless they use our moderation tools to do so themselves.
By using PlopKit, you grant us a limited license to store and serve the content submitted through your widgets solely for the purpose of operating the service. We do not claim ownership of your content.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Reasons may include but are not limited to: violation of these Terms, spam, abusive behaviour, illegal activity, or any other conduct we determine to be harmful to PlopKit or its users.
You may delete your account at any time from the Account page in the PlopKit dashboard. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
PlopKit is provided as is and as available without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, data retention, or uninterrupted access to the service.

Your use of PlopKit is entirely at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PlopKit and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct as required by applicable law.
PlopKit offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees.
Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal on the Account page. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to your paid plan features until the period ends.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
Plan limits: Each plan includes a monthly widget load limit. If you reach your limit, comments will stop loading until the next monthly reset. We will not automatically charge you for overages.
Plan changes: You may upgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately.
We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any price changes before they take effect.
We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of PlopKit after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of PlopKit shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Canada.
